The Porcupine Warriors are benefitting from the signing of former striker Kwame Poku who had scored 2 goals before the Reds face off against Vision.
The former striker opened Kotoko’s account latching onto Saaka Dauda’s cross early in the game.
Vision equalized shot afterwards but Kotoko restored their lead when Peter Amidu Acquah head home Lord Amoah’s cross from the right.
As poised as Kotoko were on the day, they attempted and succeeded creating more chances. Patrick Asiedu sent in on the turf surface cross into the box which Kwame Poku reacted and perfectly connected the ball to send his tally to two in the game and four since joining the club in December 2024.
One man who will be so happy one the day aside Kwame Poku is Saaka Duada who continues to improve games after. Duada run through Vision’s defense following a deep ball, the winger lifted it over opponent’s goal keeper that the ball was entering the net and gave it a bit effort that finally entered the net.
