Kwadwo Baah proud of progress after signing new long-term deal with Watford

Watford forward Kwadwo Baah has expressed his pride in his journey since joining the club, following the signing of a new five-year contract that will keep him at Vicarage Road until 2029.

The 21-year-old has quickly made an impact at Watford, scoring on his debut in a Carabao Cup match against MK Dons in August. He has since featured in six Championship games, including his first start against Preston North End earlier this month.

His most notable moment came when he netted a late winner in a crucial match against Middlesbrough, showcasing his potential as a future star for the Hornets.

Reflecting on his achievements, Baah said, “It’s a great achievement, and I’ve probably achieved more than I expected since joining Watford. There’s still more to come. I got my first Championship goal, and now I’m aiming for bigger and better things, like pushing Watford towards the play-offs or even beyond.”

Having spent time on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf and Burton Albion, Baah’s return to Watford has been marked by impressive performances, and the club is counting on him to play a central role in their aspirations moving forward.
